Poetry Activity

• Present 5 types of poetry: Acrostic, Limerick, Diamante, Haiku, Noun-Based.

• Explain and give examples for each.

• These poems must relate to composting or conservation in some way.

• Students will pick a style and after writing, they will decorate their piece.

• Display around room or in hallway.

• Objective: Learn how to express what you have learned and incorporate personality in it.
